Before opening the doors of Wade Law, San Diego attorney Jessica Wade spent almost ten years as a corporate attorney at two large, prominent law firms in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. Her work centered on tackling complex transactional matters and advising individuals and businesses on a wide range of issues. With the opening of Wade Law in 2019, Jessica committed her practice to providing consistent quality legal services in a setting that allows for personal attention and staffing continuity. Her comprehensive approach allows clients to shift their focus from legal obstacles confronting their business to what really matters — achieving and exceeding their personal and professional goals.

Jessica prides herself on being detail-oriented and always being one step ahead. Her innovative solutions and ability to plan for future risks successfully alleviate the stressors faced by her clients. As a San Diego native, Jessica is eager to give back to the community by helping its businesses thrive and by working with residents to properly plan for their futures.

Jessica’s corporate practice focuses on advising clients on incorporation and governance matters, disclosure and reporting requirements, regulations and investigations, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional and capital raising activities. She is also skilled at advising clients on California’s Transparency in Supply Chains Act. Jessica’s personalized approach fosters strong client relationships. She is dedicated to providing strategic, innovative, and reliable legal services. Whether you are an eager entrepreneur or founder looking for an exit strategy, Jessica has the experience and commitment to service organizations from small to large.

In addition to her corporate practice, Jessica provides estate planning services to help her clients properly plan for the future. A thorough estate plan requires careful consideration of not only a client’s assets, but their goals for distributing those assets. Jessica will ensure that your estate plan addresses concerns related to estate taxes, medical treatments, charitable contributions, and transferring assets (including businesses) to family members on your death.

Jessica received her law degree from UCLA in 2011. During law school, she served as the Articles Editor for the UCLA Journal of Law and Technology and was a copyright protection intern with 20th Century Fox. Prior to attending law school, Jessica received her undergraduate degree from Duke University. She is a member of the Los Angeles Bar Association, San Diego Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

In her spare time, Jessica loves spending time with her rescue dog Miss Penny, and the two of them can be seen exploring San Diego’s beaches. She is also a classically trained pianist and is working on her first novel.
